LOCATION PORTRAIT SESSION

Location portrait sessions are done outside of a studio setting. Locations may include freely accessible areas in the city, your home or office, somewhere in the great outdoors, or nearly anywhere else it’s possible to shoot. A location portrait session in general will work in one of two ways. It will be shot at a static location where we shoot multiple looks at a single setting; Or it will be shot in one or more general areas where we continually move around from one setting to the the next. In either case we’ll start the session by reviewing the clothing you brought with you and discuss what will work best. From there we’ll move into the shooting. We’ll start slow and then build in step by step fashion toward a finished set of images.

In some circumstances it will be possible to shoot directly to computer and review images as the session progresses. In other situations this simply isn’t possible. In these cases we’ll sit down directly after the shoot and work through selecting images from your entire shoot. The images that are selected will later receive some retouching (skin and color corrections, stray hairs, minimizing of clothing wrinkles, etc.) with the focus on achieving a clean, yet natural and authentic look. In about a week's time, you will be provided a link to download your chosen images.
