PROJECT: LIVING TRADITIONS

LIVING TRADITIONS is a continuing personal project born of an interest in the history of Japan and how elements of the past, in their nearly original form, can still be clearly seen in the modern era. The intent of this project is to seek out and photograph men and women actively involved in the long-held traditions, crafts, and customs of Japan and present them in a way that makes viewers feel as if they are looking through a window to another time.
